For January, "Surprise" stories! We pulled character, setting and problem from 3 different envelopes - then developed them into a story with our own solution! Look for 2nd grade authors who are using quotation marks for dialogue, adjective-noun combinations to make their stories more interesting, and all around imaginative tales. (**Stories are in their original form, with no adult editing.) Our Nov. and Dec. stories are still available; go back and see how much we've grown!

Aidan's Story

Aidan and Hannah were watching my brother on the swing and my brother fell off the swing and we took him to the doctor and my brother was feeling all better.
